Ireland 2010
In June 2010 we are aiming to take a group of club members and helpers on a trip of a lifetime fishing in Ireland.
We will be stopping at Cuisle, a centre built especially with the needs of disabled people in mind. All the accommodation is wheelchair accessible and equipment such as hoists etc are available.
Fishing will be on the River Suck where there are 36 purpose built fishing platforms.
The trip will be in wheelchair accessible transport and a support vehicle will carry the luggage and fishing equipment.
The trip will include accommodation, full board, evening entertainment, fishing permits, ferry crossing and transport.
Due to the need for specialist accommodation and transport the total cost of the trip is £700 per person.
We have set a goal of raising £10,000 to enable the group to go.
To achieve this total we have set about an active fund raising campaign which includes; Bingo's; car boots; raffle's; book and tackle sales and an auction of promises.
We are seeking support from individuals and business to get items that can be used to raise funds, however great or small any support is greatly appreciated.
As a thank you we are listing sponsors names on our Ireland 2010 sponsors page.
